There is a trend these days regarding world records and people doing impressive things to stand out from the crowd.
The brave and courageous ones will do anything to create a small revolution and be lauded by their peers.
We know by know that food can let us be creative to the maximum and we have proof!
Chefs out there and cooking enthusiasts have showed their skills by creating dishes larger than life which have impressed the media, juries or even the Guinness World Records book!
A few years ago Steve Mallie made a burger that would astonish the world, by becoming…the world’s biggest burger!
After more than 24 hours of preparation, the burger turned out to have an 84kg weight and it was sold for $499. We are wondering who was brave enough to try that!
Aside extra large burger sizes that appear in world records books, there are burgers you will find in restaurants and find a bit out of this world.
The one we are talking about is called “The Beast” and it’s located in Britain. For only £40 you can actually indulge in calories. How many? 17,720. We reckon a really hungry customer will order Britain’s biggest burger!
If you haven’t heard of chef Ted Reader, then you should do some research! He is famous throughout the world for making a truly yummy burger. The ingredients? Lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, red onions, pickles and barbecue sauce, all nicely wrapped up in a 48kg bun! Woohoo! They say the size of this burger is more than 300 times the usual one!
Would you dare? 🙂
